A beautiful example of a PCGS MS67+ CAC 1880-S Morgan Silver dollar. It is difficult to describe the eye appeal of this coin, and I would submit the only reason this is not a solid MS68 is due to a single bag mark across Liberty's eyebrow. Microscope analysis indicates this is die variety VAM 92 exhibiting tripling of right hand stars, doubling of 80 and reverse exhibits die gouge in field above first L in DOLLAR.
The 1880-S Morgan Dollar is one of the most common coins in the series. It is fairly easy to find up to MS66 condition. In MS67 to MS68 they are much scarcer. In MS69 they are considered rare, as few examples exist in this condition or higher.
